BIG BEND - David "RookIe" Bourdo died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at age 49. He was a retiree of Navistar.

He was the beloved husband of Robin (nee Peterson) Bourdo; dear father of Nathan (fiancˇ Holly McElrone), Stacey (Chad) Kelly and Amber Lynn Bourdo; and proud grandfather of Ethan Joseph Kelly. He was the dear brother of Fritz (Dorothy), Patricia (Chuck) Jagunt, Jim (Suzanne), Leon (Geri), Owen (Doris), Jane (Bill) Holick, Neal (Tenie), Alvin, Lois (Harry) Novak, Karen (Joe) Molus, Mark (Bonnie) and twin Dean (Gail) Bourdo. He was the dear uncle of 43 nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by many in-laws and friends, too many to mention.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mel and Stella Bourdo, and his brother, Tommy (Carol) Bourdo.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Max A. Sass & Sons Westwood Chapel, W173-S7629 Westwood Drive, Muskego. A second visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. Monday, March 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Big Bend, S89-W22650 Milwaukee Ave., followed by the funeral service at 6 p.m. Private entombment will follow.
