WAUKESHA - Lifelong Waukesha resident Josephine Warren Toth died at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001, at age 78. She was born in Waukesha on Sept. 28, 1923, the daughter of Michael and Philomina Norcia. Josephine was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Waukesha. She was the dear mother of Diane Scarce and Barbara Hartel, both of Waukesha, and Michael (Cynthia) Warren of the town of Waukesha; sister of Rose Inzeo and Mary Baumhover, both of Waukesha, Angie (Al) Herfeth of Houston, James Norcia of Waukesha and Clara (Gordon) Becker of Milwaukee; and dear grandmother of Paul (Karla) Scarce, Aaron (Patrice) Scarce, Joelle (Andy) Martin, Michael (Jami) Hartel, Nicole Hartel and Jaimie, Lindsay and Matthew Warren. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Allyse, Kaitlyn, Nicholas and Isabella, as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Warren; her second husband, Frank Toth; and her brother, Tony Norcia. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Boulevard. The Rev. Glenn Graczyk will officiate.
