Walter E. Black, age 59, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001, at University Hospital in Madison following a brief illness. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home with the Rev. John Ruiz officiating. Burial will be in Concord United Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Walter was born Nov. 22, 1942, in Jamestown, Penn., the son of Blair and Margaret (Walter) Black. On July 14, 1962, he married the former Patricia Zimmerman in Lake Mills. He had been employed at the Waukesha Motor Co. for over 33 years. Walter was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and the machinist’s union. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Pat; his father, Blair (Mary Ann) Black, of Indiana; two daughters, Laura (Troy) French, of Iron Mountain, Mich., and Bonnie (Henry) Fenner of Watertown; three grandchildren, Bobbie French and Jacob and Zachariah Fenner; brothers and sisters Ken (Cynthia) Black, of Racine, Michael (Sharon) Revolinski of Sullivan, Daniel Revolinski of Sullivan, Thomas (Sandy) Revolinski of Frankton, Ind., Pamela (Joe) Jarnecke of Valparaiso, Ind., Lisa Black of Valparaiso, Ind., and Brian Black, of Valparaiso, Ind., and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Hunsinger; his mother, Margaret (Donald) Revolinski; and a brother, David Revolinski.
