MUKWONAGO - Dolores L. Skibba, a resident of Mukwonago for 35 years, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at the Ruth Hospice in Milwaukee at age 75. She was born in Portage County on Feb. 22, 1926, to Roy and Mildred (nee Lilyquest) Gustafson. She attended P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. On Sept. 13, 1947, she married Alvin P. Skibba in Junction City. Dolores was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago. She was an excellent card player and loved crafting. Survivors include her husband, Alvin; three children, Dennis (Rosie) of Cottage Grove, Vicki (Joseph) Bradetich of Lakeside, Calif., and Alan (Colleen) of Mukwonago; six grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Skibba of Oregon, Wis., Joseph Skibba of Madison, Renee Doerflinger of Rancho San Diego and Sandra, Nicole and Jacob Skibba, all of Mukwonago; one great-grandson, Derek Skibba of Oregon, Wis.; two brothers, Kenneth (Rose) Gustafson of Nekoosa and William (Henrietta) Gustafson of Stevens Point; other relatives and friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Russell Skibba. Friends may call from noon until the time of the funeral Mass at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at St. James Catholic Church, 830 Highway NN East, Mukwonago. The Rev. Robert J. Drutowski will officiate. A private burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral & Cremation Services in Mukwonago, 363-7126, is serving the family.
