MILWAUKEE - Robert D. Hunkins entered the arms of Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at age 57.

He was the best friend and soul mate to Violet, his wife of 25 years. He will be dearly missed and loved by his sons and daughter, Robert Jr. (Jeanette), Mark, Dennis (Bonnie), Bill (Kelly) and Victoria. He was the loving grandfather of Jason, Melissa, Mark Jr., Daven, Brandon, Valerie, Max, Alex, D.J., Rachel and Marriah; and brother of Gene (Glenda) Hunkins, Bill (Georgia) Hunkins, Violet Lawton, Anna Boone, Clarence (Beverly) Hunkins and May Vredenburg. He is also loved by other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the Krause Funeral Home, 12401 W. National Ave.; funeral services will be held at 7 p.m.
