Hazel E. Yeager

DOUSMAN - Hazel E. Yeager, 95, of Dousman, formerly of Buffalo, N.Y., died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at the Masonic Health Care Center.

Hazel was born Jan. 13, 1906, in Buffalo, a daughter of Gust and Mathilda (nee Bidderman) Brade. She loved to play cards, especially bridge, and enjoyed sewing and golf. Hazel was always happy and enjoyed sharing her smiles. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Paul Yeager; her two brothers, Raymond and Arthur Brade; and her sister-in-law, Florence Brade.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Sally Bronkala of Sullivan; a stepson, James W. (Lorraine) Yeager of Kenmore, N.Y.; four grandsons, Thomas Robbin of Springbrook, Richard (Judy) Robbin of Waukesha, Douglas (Ellen) Yeager of Mukwonago and Terry April Yeager of Lexington, N.C.; and several great-grandchildren. Hazel is also survived by her sister, Mildred Williams of Alden, N.Y., a daughter-in-law, Shirley Yeager of Waukesha; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Hazel’s life will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. The Rev. Jack Way of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Rome will be the officiant. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Masonic Health Care Center, 400 N. Main St., Dousman, WI 53118.
