Milburn Cornelious Krause

TOWN OF GENESEE - Milburn "Neil" Cornelious Krause, 74, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at his town of Genesee home. He was born June 8, 1927, in Wauwatosa. Mr. Krause proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific from 1944 until 1951, and was a member of the American Legion, D.J. Martin Post No. 8. On July 20, 1968, he married the former Janice Matysik in Hartland; she survives him. From 1951 until 1986, he was a barber at Neil’s Barber Shop on Grand Avenue. He loved to golf, paint, draw and garden.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Janice Krause; his stepson, Rick Berry of Mukwonago; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edward and Gladys Matysik of Delafield; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Marilyn Matysik of Edgerton; and his sister-in-law, Pattie Wolf of Chicago. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Maria Krause.

Private family services were held at Randle-Dable Funeral Home; burial took place at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
