WAUKESHA - James S. Baldwin of Waukesha died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at age 78.

He was the beloved husband of Charlene (nee Hurlbert), and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack, and his sister, Marge.

James served his country in Europe during World War II. He received a degree in economics from Hameline University of St. Paul, and received his degree in education from Carroll College in Waukesha. He taught for 26 years in New Berlin.

Private services were held. Memorials are appreciated.
