HARTLAND - Michael P. Joyce of Hartland, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at age 62.

He was an avid member of the sailing community in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas, as well as a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Hartland.

Survivors include his wife, Caroline (nee Byrne); his children, Heather, Fran and Peter; his mother, Margaret; his brothers, William and Thomas; and his sister, Kathleen (Gordon) Nelson. He is further survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Alice (William) Jovan; and his niece, Julie (Patrick) Sheerin. He was preceded in death by his father, William A.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 313 Circle Drive, Hartland. Friends may call at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday.
