Phillip H. Ott

CITY OF PEWAUKEE - Phillip H. Ott, 67, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at his City of Pewaukee residence. He was born in New Berlin on April 13, 1934, to George and Olivia (nee Leideritz) Ott. On June 25, 1960, he married the former Sharron Leitinger at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. He had been an active member at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church since 1960 and owned Phill Ott Construction for more than 30 years.

He is the beloved husband of Sharron; dear father to Stephanie (William) Buchholtz of Waterford and Jack (Gesa) Ott of Waukesha; dear grandfather of Andrew Handeland, who is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, Joshua and Matthew Buchholtz, both of Waterford, and Karin Ott of Waukesha; and beloved brother of George (Lois) Ott of Waukesha, James Ott of West Allis, Daniel (Judy) Ott of New Berlin, Guy (Beverly) Ott of Dousman, Richard (Diane) Ott of Illinois and David (Susan) Ott of Kentucky. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Matilda Ott.

The funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., with the Rev. Michael Michalski officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Following the Mass, graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
