WAUKESHA - Longtime Waukesha resident Nina E. Martinson died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at age 94. Nina was born Oct. 28, 1907, in Hazelhurst, the daughter of Charles and Ella (nee Damberg) Steele.

Nina was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukesha.

She is the dear mother of Alice (Dennis) Bissett of Waukesha and the grandmother of Kristin Bissett. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. Nina was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Russel Steele; and her sisters, Irene Berrend and Alice Carlson.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Boulevard; Pastor James L. Wilch will officiate. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
