WAUKESHA - Jerome "Jerry" F. Kandziora, 80, of Waukesha, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at his home. He was born May 12, 1921, in Milwaukee, to Steven and Martha (nee Brzoskowski) Kandziora. Jerry had worked for the Milwaukee Road for 32 years and after his retirement he worked part time at MGIC for 17 years. He is a member at St. William’s Catholic Church in Waukesha. Jerome served his country from May 28, 1942, to April 2, 1945, in the Army Air Corps. He enjoyed woodworking and camping with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Jerome is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor (nee Schwabe) Kandziora of Waukesha; his four children, Dennis (Pam) Kandziora of Brookfield, Barbara (Paul) Kalawa of Waukesha, William (Bryke) Kandziora of Waukesha and Janice (Rick Jakus) Zelenak of Milwaukee; eight grandchildren, Scott (Mickey) Kandziora of Waukesha, Kelly (Dave Szymakowski) Kandziora of Bay View, Jody Kalawa of Milwaukee, Jill Kalawa of Waukesha, Christopher Kandziora of Minnesota, Jamie Kandziora of Waukesha, Nicole Kandziora of Waukesha and Brad Zelenak of Greenfield. He is also survived by his brother, Neil (Pat) Kandziora of Necedah; sister, Joan (Bob) Le Tendre of Milwaukee; sister-in-law, Florence Kandziora of Milwaukee; along with other relatives and many caring friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Gary and Scott; daughter, Mary; and brother, Robert. The Mass of Christian burial for Jerome will be held at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 10, at St. William’s Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Revs. Mark Payne and Donald Braun will be the co-celebrants of the Mass. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the the 7 p.m. Mass today at St. William’s Catholic Church.
