WAUKESHA - Daniel E. Nylund, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at his Waukesha home. He was born in Rhinelander on Sept. 20, 1935, to Henry and Goldie Nylund.

He was employed at Century Fence in Waukesha for many years. Daniel enjoyed trying his luck in the lottery and the dog track. He will be remembered as a wonderful person who loved his family very much. On Oct. 16, 1981, he married Sherry (nee Staupe) Schultz-Nylund.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Sherry Schultz-Nylund of Waukesha; three children, JoAnn (Ronald) Enk, Paula (Michael) Chroninger and Jennifer Schultz, all of Waukesha; and four grandchildren, Justin and Zachary Enk and Cody and Logan Chroninger. He is further survived by his two sisters and a brother, Joyce (Rene) Paddock of Iowa, Ken (Darlene) Nylund and Bonnie Wedemeyer, both of Rhinelander; his stepchildren, Linda, Connie, Kay, Peggy and the late Tommy; and many stepgrandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 8, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery.
