OCONOMOWOC - Barbara J. Pucci (nee Hasselkus), 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. She was born in Dousman on Sept. 5, 1934, to Robert and Irene (nee Genrich) Hasselkus.

Barbara was born and raised in Dousman, attended Carroll College and was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. On Feb. 9, 1957, she married Joseph Pucci and moved to her present home on Lower Nashotah Lake. She managed the Stony Hill Stables in Pewaukee and for many years was an active member of the American Saddlebred Association of Wisconsin. Barbara was also active for 30 years in the Lower Nashotah Lake Association.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph Pucci; her son, Dr. Anthony (Nina) Pucci of Ludington, Mich.; her daughter, Lisa Pucci of Oconomowoc; her grandson, Dominic Pucci; her sister-in-law, Ann Hasselkus of Oconomowoc; her niece, Lynn (Manuel) Galeng of Elm Grove; her nephew, Rob Hasselkus of Milwaukee; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Hasselkus.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Highway 67, Oconomowoc. A memorial service for Barbara will be held at 6 p.m. The Rev. Ralph Schultz will officiate. Interment will be in the Town of Summit Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County are suggested.
