Rellatz
MUKWONAGO - George Rellatz of Mukwonago passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Heartland Health Care Center in Pewaukee at the age of 84. He was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 31, 1916, to Steven and Lina (nee Steiger) Rellatz. George served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was a retiree of Imprex Corp. in West Allis. George was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post #7221 and American Legion Post #375, both in Mukwonago. George loved to bowl, play horseshoes and ride Harleys. He is survived by four daughters, Faye (James) Sheehan of Pewaukee, Patricia Mitchell of Mukwonago, Joanne (Raymond) Toetz of Waukesha and Barbara (Dennis) Schroeder of Fort Atkinson; a brother, John (Ruby) Rellatz of Merton; a sister, Viola Hoffman of Hartland; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sylvia; his second wife, Hester; a brother, Steven Rellatz; and a sister, Erna Davis. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Mukwonago. The Rev. Dan David will officate. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago. The Schmidt & Bartelt-Van Valin Funeral Home, 363-7126, is serving the family.
