WEST BEND - Doris F. Borchert (nee Redlin) of West Bend passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at the Cedar Lake Home Campus at the age of 94. She was born Dec. 12, 1906, in Rubicon to Frank and Amelia (nee Rohde) Redlin. She married Elmer Borchert on Sept. 17, 1929, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.

She was a member of Old Club Cheese Makers of Waukesha. She lived in Waukesha most of her life and moved to Hartford in 1977.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, on Jan. 20, 1964; her parents; four brothers, Arnold, Edgar, Norbert and Roland Redlin; and a sister, Rosella Berndt.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford; the Rev. Daniel Westendorf officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends Friday at the church from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford.
