Walter Bach
WAUKESHA - Waukesha resident Peter Walter Bach died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. He was born April 2, 1908, in Manitowoc to Peter and Mary (nee Joworski) Bach. On Sept. 3, 1932, he married the former Hazel Grabow. He worked at George Cox Plumbing for 40 years, retiring in 1975. He was a current member of Waukesha Lodge No. 37, Free and Accepted Masons, Waukesha Commandery No. 23 K.T., Waukesha Chapter No. 37 Royal Arch Masons, Waukesha Council No. 29 Royal and Select Masons and Tripoli Shrine. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 69 years, Hazel, along with their daughter, Mary Ann (Jack) Kauffman of Carter Lake, Iowa. He was the beloved grandfather of Pete (Karen) Mitchell of Waukesha and the dear great-grandfather of Samantha, Sabrina and Sahara Mitchell, all of Waukesha. He is further survived by his sisters, Adeline Mlodzik and Rosemary (Huntz) Nader, and brother Art Bach, all of Waukesha, as well as other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Mitchell Peter; his sisters, Anne Rapp, Josephine Meyer and Marie Makoutz; and his brothers, John, Eugene "Buck" and Frederick "Fritz" Bach. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. The Rev. James Bickel will officiate. A Masonic Lodge service will be held at 6 p.m. Graveside services will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at Prairie Home Cemetery; please meet at the cemetery office.
