NORTH LAKE - Gilbert H. Lund of North Lake was born to eternal life Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at age 94.

He was an active member of the Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, the Kettle Moraine Two-Cylinder Club, the Sussex Antique Tractor Club and the Modern Woodman of America. Gilbert was a valuable player in the Kettle Moraine dartball league and was retired from the Bank of North Lake, where he served as custodian for 50 years.

Survivors include his children, Donald (Karla) Lund of Hartland, Larry (Kathleen) Lund of Hartland, Allan (Diane) Lund of Watertown and David (Judy) Lund of Charleston, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Woodrow Lund of Oconomowoc; his sisters, Vera (Sylvester) Steele of Merton and Ella Mae Clausen of Hartland; other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, and his sisters, Ina and Viola.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, N66-W32690 Highway K in Hartland. Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday. Burial will be at Stone Bank Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or the Kettle Moraine Two-Cylinder Club appreciated.
