PEWAUKEE - Gilbert J. Becker was born to eternal life Dec. 15, 2000, at age 64. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Paula (nee Thelen); dear father of Patrick (Carolyn), Michael (Patricia), Thomas and Kathleen (John) Murray; dear stepfather of John (Joy) Taylor, Rod (Jonibeth) Taylor and Rich Taylor; loving son of Gertrude Schaefer; and loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Gilbert was retired from the West Allis Fire Department after 25 years of service.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 1435 S. 92nd St. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 until the time of Mass.
