WAUKESHA - Lifelong Waukesha County resident Mary C. Marconi died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at The Waters of Westmoreland Health Care Center at age 88. Mary was born in the town of Pewaukee on Dec. 23, 1911, the daughter of Luigi and Bernice (nee Guerino) Miletti.

Mary is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha. She retired from Waukesha Rubber after 25 years of service.

She is the dear mother of Phyllis (Joseph) McDonald and Michael (Mary) Marconi, both of Waukesha. She is the dear grandmother of Jeanne (Don) Gwinn, Joseph McDonald, Lisa (Allen) Smith, Kelly McDonald, Michael Marconi and Trish Marconi. Mary is the great-grandmother of Rebecca Gwinn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mike M. Marconi, who died June 29, 1970; and her brothers, Anthony and Julius Miletti.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha; The Rev. Gordon Weber will celebrate Mass. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Boulevard. A parish vigil will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
