BROOKFIELD - Frieda E. Alexander (nee Smith) was born to eternal life Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee Alexander.

She was the dear mother of the late Robert (Beatrice) and William (Patricia) Alexander, and is further survived by six sisters, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held after 5:30 p.m. today, Dec. 15, at Reformation Lutheran Church, 915 Adelmann Ave., Brookfield; funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at Greenbrier Cemetery in Bagley, Iowa.
