PEWAUKEE - Daniel D. Toporek was born to eternal life Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at the age of 75.

He was the loving father of Kathleen (Ron) Cochenet of Kewaskum, David (Susan) Toporek of Waukesha, Patricia (William) Mather of Waukesha and Lynda Toporek of West Allis. He was the fond brother of Audrey (John) Sindic of Pewaukee and the best friend of Richard Brownell. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, other relatives and friends.

Dan loved to read and cook, often boasting that he made the best chili.

Visitation and funeral services were held today, Dec. 14, at Yonke & Son Funeral Home; the Rev. William McBride officiated. Interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
