WAUKESHA - Eli Thew Jr. of Waukesha died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000, at Linden Grove Health Care Center in New Berlin at age 70. He was born March 12, 1930, in Waukesha, to Eli E. Sr. and Harriet (nee Tuyls) Thew.

He will be missed by his brother, Karl (Nancy) Thew of Waukesha, and his sister, Genevieve (Jerome) Nader of Wiley Lake, S.C. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Deloris (Allen) Wrighton.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13; meet at the cemetery. The Rev. Frank Gaylord will officiate.
