A funeral service was held last Thursday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church for Vincent "Butch" J. Uselding, 89, who died July 8, 2000. Fr. Ed Wawrzyniakowski officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg. Burial was held at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery in Mequon.

Mr. Uselding was born March 17, 1911 in Belgium, son of Peter and Mathilda (nee Wester) Uselding. He married Elsie Piepenburg and worked as a foreman. He attended St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.

Survivors include: sons James (Sally) Uselding, Cedarburg, Tom Uselding, Holy Cross; daughter Joyce (Richard) Zimdars, Cedarburg; grandchildren Debra (Gilbert) McDaniel, Saukville, Donna (Roger) Erickson, Cedarburg, James Jr. (Kathy) Uselding, Grafton, Sarah Uselding, Cedarburg, Kim Lukes, West Bend, Elizabeth Uselding, Camiollia, Ga., Jacqueline Uselding, Camilla, Ga.; great-grandchildren Jennifer McDaniel, Saukville, Joshua McDaniel, Saukville, Addie Erickson, Cedarburg, Abram Erickson, Cedarburg, Lacey Erickson, Cedarburg, Emmie Erickson, Cedarburg, Paul Uselding, Grafton, Kassi Uselding, Grafton, Christopher Uselding, Grafton, Brandon Lukes, West Bend, Nicole Lukes, West Bend.

Further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie Uselding and his parents.
