Robert A. Stockfish, 47

Robert A. Stockfish, 47, of West Bend, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital.

He was born Oct. 8, 1952, in Milwaukee to Stanley and Lillian (Nee Danielson) Stockfish.

After graduating from Custer High School he attended MATC, Milwaukee.

He was employed as an electronic technician for Midwestern Relay in Rubicon until his disability due to illness.

In 1986 the family came to West Bend.

Bob was very active in the Boy Scouts and was the current treasurer of Troop 762. He was also an avid gardener and loved cooking.

His memberships included the West Bend Lodge 1398 LOOM and the Washington County Amateur Radio Club.

Survivors include his wife, Abigail (nee Roessler); two children, Peter and Blayze, both of West Bend; his parents, Stanley and Lillian of Milwaukee; two sisters, Patricia (Bill) Savatski of Pewaukee and Denise (Bob) Joers of Milwaukee; two brothers, Vern (Donna) of Newburg and Mark (Kathy) of Orange Park, Fla.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Milwaukee. Father Donald Hying will be the presider, and burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon.

Visitation at the Schmidt Funeral Home, Jackson, will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Those who wish may give memorials to the West Bend Fire Department EMS equipment fund.
