Eldon J. Rauch, 74

Eldon J. Rauch, 74, of Campbellsport, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.

He was born May 19, 1925, in Elmore, to the late Edward and Agnes (Senn) Rauch, and married Bernice Pionke on Feb. 15, 1947, in Almond. She passed away May 10, 1964.

On Jan. 15, 1966, he married LaVerne Beine Wiedmeyer at St. Kilian's Church, St. Kilian.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and worked as an operating engineer doing road construction until retiring. After retirement, he worked part time for the town of Ashford.

He was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife; children, Diane (Claude) Ullrich of Fond du Lac, Gary (Ellen) of Allenton, Larry (Jackie) of Kewaskum, Terry of Kewaskum and Jerry (Jennifer) of Plymouth; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Flitter, Jeanette (Alfred) Procknow and Audrey Martin, all of Campbellsport; a brother, Roger of Fond du Lac; a sister-in-law, Helen Rauch of West Bend; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Vernon and Norman, and two sisters, Marcella Howard and Lorraine Krueger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian's Catholic Church, St. Kilian, following a prayer service at 10:30 a.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport.

Rev. Victor Kemmer and Rev. Francis Malloy will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m.
