Wallace C. Margelowsky, 72

Wallace C. Margelowsky of Hartford passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999 at Hartford Memorial Hospital. He was 72 years old.

He was born Dec. 11, 1927 in Rubicon to Walter and Amanda (Gensmer) Margelowsky.

He was employed as a trucker of bulk coolers and later as a welder at Midas International. Wallace was a member of the local union at Midas and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Wallace is survived by two sons, Wayne (Diann Pruitt) and Todd, both of Hartford; two daughters, Debra (Craig) Kodai of California and Kim (Fred) Peters of Hartford; dear friend, Dorothy Margelowsky-Poole of Hartford; six grandchildren, Michelle Peters, Abbie Peters, Stephanie Margelowsky, Carrie Krohn, Scott (Shawna) Kodai and Brian (Cindy) Kodai; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth (Marie) of California and John (Marlene) of Hustisford; a sister, Sally (Darwin) Martinson of Iron Ridge; brother-in-law, Marvin Kluge of Iron Ridge; and sister-in-law, Barbara (Charlie) Borchardt of Brookfield. Wallace is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Terry; his parents; a brother, James; and sister, Donna.

Funeral Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 26 at 6 p.m. at Shimon Funeral Home with Father Michael Petrie officiating. The family greeted relatives and friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hartford Memorial Hospital Foundation are appreciated.

Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
