Ena Pickering Munro, 93, passed away on Monday, Dec. 13, 1999 at Fairhaven Retirement Home in Whitewater.

She was born April 16, 1906 in Wanette, Okla., the daughter of Joseph and Frances (nee DeJarnette) Boatwright.

She married Eugene Pickering in 1928. He died in June of 1951. She married Hugh Munro of Waukesha in 1953. He died in July of 1982.

Survivors include her sister, Joy Vestal of Farmersville, Calif.; her sons, Warney (Harriet) Pickering of Janesville and Gene (Lois) Pickering of Norfolk, Va. her daughter, Sandra (William) Brown of Pineville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
