| Gordon L. Leavens,
58 Gordon L. Leavens of West Bend died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999 at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital at the age of 58. He was born on Jan. 8, 1941 in Bloomer to Clarence and Louisa (nee Libersky) Leavens, and was married to RoseAnn Rauscher in Bloomer on July 7, 1962. Gordon was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend, The Touring Classic’s Car Club and at the time of his death was on disability leave as plant manager of the plastics division of Regal Ware. He is survived by his wife, RoseAnn; two children, Dawn Traindl of West Bend and John (Jenn) Leavens of Watertown; four grandchildren Brandon Leavens, Jesse Leavens, Samantha Leavens and Kelsey Traindl; his mother, Louisa Leavens of Bloomer; two sisters, Sharon (Kevin) Berg of Wasilla, Ark. and Charlene Geissler of Bloomer; two brothers, Curtis (Sandy) Leavens of Bloomer and LaVerne (Jane_ Leavens of Bloomer; his father-in-law, Bernard Rauscher of Bloomer; a brother-in-law, Charles (Carol) Rauscher of Chippewa Falls; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence. A Memorial Mass was held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Jeffrey Haines presiding. The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family. |
