A funeral service was held on Tuesday at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Shandra Covill, 33, who died on Dec. 4, 1999. Rev. Janis Kinens officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg.

Ms. Covill was born June 14, 1966 in Ann Arbor, Mich., daughter of John and Suzanne Covill. She worked as a systems analyst and was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross.

Survivors include: mother Suzanne Covill of Cedarburg; sister Crista (Andy) Wajack of Grafton; grandmother Jane Musch of Wauwatosa; other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
