A memorial service was held yesterday at the Gunderson Funeral Home in Madison for Ervin M. Mintzlaff, 85, who died on Nov. 25, 1999. Rev. Shirley Funk officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Gunderson Funeral Home.

Mr. Mintzlaff was born Jan. 13, 1914 in Cedarburg, son of William and Ethel Mintzlaff. He married Inez Kukcuk in 1941. He worked for Oscar Mayer in the 1950s and at Truax Field in Madison during the 1960s.

Survivors include: sons Jeff (Janis) Mintzlaff of Madison, Bill (Linda) Mintzlaff of Orlando, Fla; grandchildren Karl Peterson of Madison, James Mattox of Florida and Amanda Harod of Florida; and sister Ethel (Ervin) Sievers of Cedarburg.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez, parents, sister Bernice, brother Winfred and sister Louise.
