A funeral service was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg, Tuesday for Michael Jon Dietrich, 34, who died on Nov. 25, 1999.

Mr. Dietrich was born Aug. 6, 1965, son of Palmer and Alice Dietrich. He was a 1983 graduate of Cedarburg High School and graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in civil engineering. He married Janet Kiemel on May 7, 1999 and relocated to Vernon Hills, Ill. He was a project manager for STS Consultants.

Survivors include: wife Janet Dietrich of Libertyville, Ill.; mother Alice Dietrich of Cedarburg; brother Alan (Linda) Dietrich of Madison; sister Chris (Don) Roe of Saginaw, Mich.; father- and mother-in-law Kenneth and Catherine Kiemel of Frankfort, Ill.; brothers-in-law Rick (Lyn) Kiemel of Danville, Ind. and Steve (Tami) Kiemel of New Lenox, Ill.; nephews James Dietrich, Andrew Dietrich and Joshua Kiemel; nieces Amy Roe, Rachel Roe, Sarah Kiemel, Anna Kiemel, Emily and Molly Kiemel.
