Doris E. Stockinger, 80, of West Bend, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at the Samaritan Health Center.

She was born July 20, 1919, in Milwaukee to the late Herman and Marie Stockinger.

Doris worked for many yeas at Geiser Potato Chip Co. in Milwaukee, retiring in 1980.

In 1988 she moved to West Bend and resided at Meadowbrook Manor until becoming a resident of the Samaritan in 1997.

Survivors include a son, James (Linda) Stockinger of West Bend; four grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Michael and Sara Stockinger, all of West Bend; nieces; nephew; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her stepfather, Peter Becker, and a brother Ralph Becker.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Oscar Kraft of Our Savior's Lutheran Church will officiate, and burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
