He was born in Neosho and lived there until 2002 when he moved to Arizona.

He is survived by his son, Russell, of Phoenix; his granddaughter, Tammy Lynn; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Phoenix.

Burial of cremated remains will take place on Friday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home is serving the family.
