She was born a daughter of Henry J. and Alvina Schneider Kaiser on Feb. 7, 1939, in Fond du Lac. Judith was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School, class of 1956. On June 21, 1958, she married Robert Maurice at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Gerhard Pieper officiating. Judy was baptized, confirmed and married at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Mission Society for over 40 years and the Gleaners Society of St. Peter's. The focus of her life was her faith and family. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; four children, Debra (Stephen) Groves of Hartford, Scott (Vicky) Maurice of Crestview, Fla., Brian (Amy) Maurice of Watertown, and James Maurice of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Denielle, Stephen Jr., Daniel, Joshua, Ethan and Collin; a sister, Berenice Nault of Murell's Inlet, S.C.; and a brother, Arlett "Bill" (Maria) Kaiser of Green Bay.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. David B. Dolan officiating. The visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004 at Mach Funeral Chapel in Fond du Lac. Further visitation will be on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
