Lydia A. Lindert Lydia A. Lindert (nee Jordan) of Hartford passed away on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 at the Cedar Lake Home Community. She was 76 years old. She was born on March 1, 1928 in Hartford to Fred and Katherine (nee Meser) Jordan. She married Lester Lindert on Oct. 18, 1947 at Peace Lutheran Church, Hartford. Lydia was a long-time member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church. She was part of the Koinonia Circle and Women’s Guild. Lydia enjoyed quilting. She is survived by her two sons, Karl (Sandi) of Rubicon and Jim (Barbara) of Hartford; seven grandchildren, Erica (Dan), Krystl (Steven), Annie, Brian, Melissa, Joe and Carrie; six great-grandchildren, Geneva, Kellee, Brady, Alexandra, Samantha and Maxwell; and a brother, Robert (Irene) Lindert of Arkansas. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; a son, David; a brother, John (Sally); a sister, Lillian; and her parents. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004 at 7 p.m. at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, Hartford, with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. Family greeted relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Divine Savior Lutheran Church Building Fund or Vince Lombardi Cancer Research Fund appreciated. Shimon Funeral Home is assisting the family.
