Harland H. Brockhaus

Harland H. Brockhaus of Hustisford passed away on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 at Watertown Memorial Hospital at the age of 72 years.

He was born on Dec. 8, 1932 in Hustisford, the son of Herman and Alma (nee Bischoff) Brockhaus. He married Ruth Ann Woods on Sept. 2, 1967 in Hartford. He farmed in the Hustisford area all his life. After he sold the farm, he went to work for Watertown Metals Products. He played the bass drum in several bands, Lebanon City Band, Hartford City Band and Old Mapleton Circus Band in Oconomowoc. He was also a member of the Lake Sinissippi Trail Hawk Snowmobile Club. He also delivered news papers for the Watertown Daily Times. Harland was a lifetime member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.

Harland is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. (Woods) Brockhaus of Hustisford; his daughter, Frances (Randall) Mohr of Juneau; and his granddaughter, Kimberly. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.

Visitation was on Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Hustisford. Funeral service followed at 7:30 p.m. at church.

Interment 10 a.m. Thursday at Hustisford Cemetery.
