Marie M. Schatz (nee Schickert), 86, was born to eternal life Dec. 14, 2004.

Marie was a longtime member of St. Hubert’s/St. Mary’s Catholic church, a member of the Christian Mothers and a member of the ladies Auxiliary of Gross Yaksh VFW Post 6498.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred. Devoted and loving mother of Mary (Robert) Eiche, Virginia (Earl) Frank, Jerome (Roxanne), Thomas (Beverly) and Barbara (Jeff) Mutz. Dear Grandma of Brian, Kim, William, Tammy, Elizabeth, Shannon, Andrew, Sarah, Paul, Christopher Steven and the late Robert Mark. Great-grandma of 12. Sister of Cecelia (Herbert) Frigge, George (Mary Jane) Schickert, Viola (Leander) Schmitt and the late Andrew Schickert. Sister-in-law of Merie Schatz. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, with a vigil service at 6 p.m. Funeral services were at 9 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 18 from the funeral home to St. Gabriel’s Parish, Chapel of St. Hubert’s, 3733 Hubertus Road, Hubertus, for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials towards masses or a charity of your choice are appreciated.
