Ruth was born on April 15, 1925 to Charles Sr. and Hattie (nee Becker) Emmrich in Milwaukee. She married the late John S. Madala on May 10, 1947 at Walther Lutheran Memorial Church in Milwaukee.

Her whole life was dedicated to being the best wife, mother and grandmother she could be.

She is survived by her two dear children, Paul (Judith) Madala of Dacula, Ga. and Judith (Dennis) Burnick of Richfield; her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Michael Madala, Krystina Anne (Fiancee-Nicholas Wagner) Burnick, and Rose Katelyn Burnick; and one brother, Charles Jr. (Wilma) Emmrich of Franklin. Ruth is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John, on May 15, 1999; and one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and June Emmrich.

Funeral Services in honor of Ruth were held on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004 at 7 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church (1350 Hwy. 175, Hubertus), with Pastor Jay Thorson officiating. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004 at 10 a.m.

The hours of visitation were on Wednesday, at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m.
