James T. "Jim" Gruszczynski James T. "Jim" Gruszczynski of Hartford passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004 at the Aurora Medical Center Hartford. He was 73 years old. He was born on Nov. 4, 1931 in Milwaukee to James and Anna (nee Thoma) Gruszczynski. Jim married Beverly A. Wardecke on Feb. 16, 1985 in Milwaukee. Jim served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for, and retired from, the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; four children, Michael of Dayton, Ohio, Gregory (Becky) of Portland, Ore., Gary of West Allis and Paula of Slinger; three stepchildren, Brian Baenen of Pound, Brenda (Peter) Halaska of Hartford and James Baenen of Milwaukee; five grandchildren, Sara, Dustin, Cristina, Anthony and Zoe; three stepgrandchildren, Barbara, Brandon and Tammy Bodoh; one great-granddaughter, Briania; sister Pat Raeber of Milwaukee; two brothers-in-law, Bob and Jim Wardecke of Milwaukee; and a sister-in-law, LeAnne Wardecke of Hartford. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Donna. No services will be held.
