Ruth was born on April 15, 1925 to the late Charles Sr. and Hattie (nee Becker) Emmrich in Milwaukee, and married John S. Madala on May 10, 1947 at Walther Lutheran Memorial Church in Milwaukee.

Her whole life was dedicated to being the best wife, mother and grandmother she could be.

Survivors include her two dear children, Paul (Judith) Madala of Dacula, Ga. and Judith (Dennis) Burnick of Richfield; her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Michael Madala, Krystina Anne (fiance Nicholas Wagner) Burn-ick, and Rose Katelyn Burnick; and a brother, Charles Jr. (Wilma) Emmrich of Franklin.

Ruth is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John, on May 15, 1999, and a brother and sister-in-law, Harold and June Emmrich.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1350 Highway 175, Hu-bertus.

Pastor Jay Thorson will officiate, and interment will take place inWashington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church only from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m.
