Herman F. Moser Herman F. Moser of Hartford passed away on Friday, Dec. 10, 2004 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. He was 91 years old. He was born on Aug. 5, 1913 in the town of Herman to Adolph and Sophia (nee Barfuss) Moser. Herman married Viola Bernhard on Oct. 22, 1955 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. Herman was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the Hartford V.F.W. Post #8834, the Courtney-Carr-Milner American Legion Post #19, and the Hartford Senior Friends. Herman retired from the Wacker Corp. after many years of service. He loved fishing, hunting and traveling. Herman is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Viola; four nephews, Karl (Dorothy) Berger of Waukesha, Fritz (Doris) Berger of Juneau, Stan (Linda) Jahn of Fond du Lac and Sully (Jolene) Guarniere of Utah; and three nieces, Anna Schwendimann of Slinger, Georgia (Hans) Horetzki of Beaver Dam and Jan (Ralph) Spaeth of Hartford. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. Herman was preceded in death by a sister, Martha (Karl); four brothers, Paul (Emma) William, Walter and Werner; a sister-in-law, Elfrieda (Aaron); a brother-in-law, Arnold (Dorthea); and his parents. Funeral Services were held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 at 6 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Hartford. Family greeted relatives and friends on Monday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church. Entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Peace Lutheran Church, Senior Friends or Hartford V.F.W. appreciated. Shimon Funeral Home is assisting the family.
