Henry J. Schickert

Henry J. Schickert, 64, of Slinger, entered eternal peace Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004 at St. Luke’s Medical Center of Milwaukee.

Henry was born April 15, 1940 in West Bend, to the late Clarence and Gertrude (nee Kadinger) Schickert.

Henry was a dairy farmer at Kratz Dairy Farm and drove truck as well.

His passions were playing cards, hunting, and fishing.

He was a member of Hartford Senior Friends and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Joan M. (nee Seiler) Schickert; his children, Joe (Cindy) Schickert of Rapid City, S.D., Christine (Brad) Kruwell of Lake Mills, Patty Schickert of Waterloo, Susan Morris of Fort Atkinson, Julia (Jeffrey) Leigt of Austin, Texas and Norbert (Robin) Schickert of Juneau; eight dear grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Ralph) Beine of West Bend; five brothers, Matt (Catherine) Schickert of Kewaskum, Leo (Alice) Schickert of West Bend, Bernie Schickert of Hartford, Lawrence (Tony) Schickert of Rhinelander and Andy (Lilly) Schickert of Plymouth; a sister-in-law, Ann Schickert of Campbellsport; four brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Mary) Seiler of Lancaster, Michael (Jane) Seiler of Berlin, Thomas (Barb) Seiler of Horicon and Elaine (Ralph) Huet-tner of Waupaca; other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Norbert Schickert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in honor of Henry on Thursday, Dec. 16, at 5 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St., Slinger.

Father Richard J. Stoffel will officiate, and interment will be in the new St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery on Friday at at 1:30 p.m.

Visitation at the church will be on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
