Herman F. Moser Herman F. Moser, 91, of Hartford, passed away on Friday, Dec. 10, 2004 at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. He was born on Aug. 5, 1913 in the town of Herman to the late Adolph and Sophia (nee Barfuss) Moser, and married Viola Bernhard on Oct. 22, 1955 at Peace Lutheran Church, Hartford. Herman was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the Hartford VFW Post 8834, the Courtney-Carr-Milner American Legion Post 19 and the Hartford Senior Friends. He retired from the Wacker Corp. after many years of service. Herman loved fishing, hunting and traveling. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Viola; four nephews, Karl (Dorothy) Berger of Waukesha, Fritz (Doris) Berger of Juneau, Stan (Linda) Jahn of Fond du Lac and Sully (Jolene) Guarniere of Utah; three nieces, Anna Schwendimann of Slinger, Georgia (Hans) Horetzki of Beaver Dam and Jan (Ralph) Spaeth of Hartford; other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were a sister, Martha (Karl); four brothers, Paul (Emma), William, Walter and Werner; a sister-in-law, El-frieda (Aaron); a brother-in-law, Arnold (Dorothea), and an infant son, Robert. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, at 6 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 1025 Peace Lutheran Drive, Hartford. The family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the church only. Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brook-field. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Peace Lutheran Church, Senior Friends or the Hartford VFW are appreciated. The Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, is assisting the family.
