She was born on Dec. 30, 1916 in Jackson to the late Walter and Louise (nee Berndt) Weidmann. She was united in marriage to Henry G. Abel on July 26, 1941 in Jackson. Henry preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1997.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith (Richard) Kohn and Jean (John) Kuhaupt, both of West Bend; two grandchildren, Scott (Kristin) Kohn of Livermore, Calif., and Amy (Douglas) Endlich of West Bend; two great-grandchildren, Kyle Endlich and Beckett Kohn; two sisters, Julia Lindenstruth of Cedarburg, and Marilyn Anderson of West Bend; a brother, Walter Weidman of Cedarburg; two sisters-in-law, Eileen Abel of Milwaukee and Wilmette Weidman of West Bend; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Weidman and Henry Weidman.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend. Rev. James Ziesemer will officiate, and burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Monday at 10 a.m. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of services
