He was born on May 15, 1918 in the town of Hartford to the late Phillip and Margaret (nee Schuh) Schweder.

He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and was a self-employed painter most of his working life.

Survivors include two children, Raymond of Jackson and Gary (Jane) Schweder of Kewaskum; three grandchildren, Adam of Milwaukee, Molly Ann and Jacob of Kewaskum; a beloved friend and caregiver, Dolores Saniter; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Raymond and Edward Schweder.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence.

Father Joseph Dominic officiated, and interment was in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
