Clayton N. Gloege

Clayton N. Gloege, 61, of Burlington, died on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003 at Aurora Medical Centre in Kenosha.

He was born on April 6, 1942 in Watertown, Minn. to the late Clarence and Gladys (nee Hesse) Gloege, and married Janice Paul in April 1962 in Appleton.

Shortly after moving to Menomonee Falls, Clayton and his brother-in-law formed P&G Construction Co. for a short while. In 1975 he started working at the mill in Jackson.

On March 20, 1982, he was united in marriage to Lynn Biegler in West Bend, after which they moved to Waukesha. They have lived in Burlington since 1988.

Clayton was employed at the former farmer’s Grain and Supply, presently CPI, in Union Grove until September 2002.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn; six children, Greg of Kewaskum; Debbie (Walter) Stocker of Campbellsport, Kathy (Mike) Mulvehill of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Jennifer (Jon) Loyas of West Bend, Jon of Cedarburg and Eric of Burlington; three grandchildren, Heather Gloege, Cory Schneider and Hilary Gloege; a sister, Verona Gloege of Chaska, Minn., a brother, Kirk (Jeanette) of Bell Plain, Minn.; his mother-in-law, Audrey Biegler of the town of Farmington; the mother of five his children, Janice Zarling of Cedarburg; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Simenetta Gloege.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral home, West Bend, with cremation at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

Visitation at the funeral home will be on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.
