Eugene O. Stern Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27 at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Brown Deer for Eugene O. Stern of Cedarburg, who died Dec. 20, 2003, at the age of 90. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Instate at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg assisted the family with arrangements. Mr. Stern was born on Nov. 13, 1913 in Freistadt to the late Henry and Ella (nee Schrieber) Stern. He married the late Emma (nee Erdman) on Oct. 15, 1938 in Milwaukee. He was a volunteer fireman in the Mequon area in the 1940s and retired from A.O. Smith Co. Survivors include: children Jean (Dale) Greenwood of Carter, Charles (Ellen) of Portland, Ore., Eugene Jr. of Grafton, Mildred (Robert) Wilson of Grafton, Lloyd of Hawaii, Rachel (Dennis) Knuth of Cedarburg, David of Brown Deer, Leroy of St. Petersburg, Fla., Timothy (Vicki) of Neillsville, Thomas of Cedarburg, June (Steve) Mohr of Cedarburg; daughter-in-law Pam. He was preceded in death by sons Melvin and Howard and granddaughter Julia Dawn. He is further survived by 34 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials to Ozaukee Co. Dept. of Aging Services appreciated.
