Lloyd L. Leavitt
Lloyd L. Leavitt, 70, of the town of West Bend, passed away Dec. 25 at his residence. Born to Eber (Ethel LeRoy) Leavitt on April 3, 1933 in Hancock, Lloyd married Delores J. Wagner on Oct. 16, 1954 in Westfield. After marriage the couple lived in Milwaukee. He entered the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After service, Lloyd was a dedicated employee of Price Erecting as a structural Iron Worker for 39 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Milwaukee Iron Workers Local No. 8. He is survived by his his wife, Delores; two children, Glenn (Jenny Leavitt of West Bend and Beverly (fiance Brett Anderson) Leavitt of Barton; one daughter-in-law, Louise Leavitt of Slinger; three grandchildren, Oliver, Joanna and William; one brother, Eber "Sonny" (Esther) Leavitt of Red Granite; one sister, Beulah Shortt of Burlington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Peter Leavitt and his son, Larry Leavitt. A funeral service will be on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend with Rev. Donald A. Berres officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.
