Lorretta F. Garman (nee Fahn), age 73, of West Bend passed away on Friday, Dec. 26 at her residence.

She was born on Aug. 26, 1930 in Balfour ND, to the late Mike and Anna (nee Schatz) Fahn, and was united in marriage to Matthias Garman on Oct. 30, 1950 in Balta ND. They lived in several areas of the country before settling in West Bend in 1962.

Lorretta worked at the former West Bend Company until retiring in 1982.

She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was especially proud of her roses.

Lorretta shared a wonderful Christmas with her husband Math, her two children Dianne (Robert) Mutz of Menomonee Falls, and Dan (Sue) Garman of West Bend, along with her grandchildren Paul and Curt Mutz, Amy and Steve Garman. Also surviving are two sons, Ken (Jean) Garman of Gilbert, Az., and Larry (Denise) Garman of Shelbyville, Tn., along with their children, three brothers Philip, Christ and Vernon, two sisters-in-law Pauline Goetz and Meg Schmidt, and a brother-in-law Joe Garman. She was preceded in death by a sister Margaret, and three brothers Peter, Adam and Simon.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend. Father Francis Baiochhi will officiate and burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery, West Bend.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
